QLab allows you to control audio, video, and MIDI from a single workspace. The basic version of QLab is free and provides a powerful audio playback environment. For advanced users, licenses are available to enhance the audio features, as well as to add video and MIDI functionality.

Designed to make you faster. We've worked hard to create an intuitive environment for crafting your designs. Need to trim the head and tail of that cue? Just bring up the waveform editor and drag your start and end points. Want your video flipped horizontally and centered on the second projector? Click, drag, done. Cut and paste cues to new workspaces or even external spreadsheets. Decide you didn't like that adjustment? No problem, you can undo anything.

Rigorously engineered for first-class performance. QLab uses Apple's low latency CoreAudio framework to provide playback control accurate to a thousandth of a second. QLab can also guarantee sample-accurate audio and video synchronization across all the cues in your workspace. And by taking advantage of Apple's Quartz Composer technology, QLab allows you to completely customize video rendering in each cue, applying image filters and more.

QLab makes it simple to create rich multimedia designs for live performances and installations. From Broadway to the West End, in churches, museums, store fronts, concert halls, and theaters around the world, people use QLab to bring their audio and video to life.

Using building blocks called "cues", you can create sophisticated designs in seconds. Getting started is as simple as dragging in a file and pressing "GO". From there, add commands to fade volume, animate videos, or add audio and video effects.

Clicking on the audio waveform in the inspector again works to load the cue to that time.
The last version introduced some bugs with loading cue sequences; these should now be fixed.
Don't allow certain invalid values as MIDI triggers.
Fixed how the elapsed time of an audio cue is calculated in certain cases where the cue has devamped loops.
Show the right count of cue lists in the right panel when a workspace is first opened.
Clicking on the audio waveform will now move playback to the given time immediately even if the cue is playing.
